Charlie Barrett, President and Founder
- 4 Years College, member of Sigma Lambda Chi honorary Construction
Fraternity, B.S. Degree in Building Construction, Kansas State University,
Registered Professional Engineer.
- 40 years business and professional experience all in the Construction
Profession.
- 26 years as Owner and Manager of his own Companies.
- Client and Contractual Relations, Site/Civil, Architectural, and
Engineering Issues.
Mr. Barrett has had extensive Design and Construction experience with
numerous projects in the Commercial, Industrial, and Residential fields.
Several of these projects have involved problematic soils and Site/Civil
Issues, Overhead Material Handing Systems (Bridge, Jib, and Gantry Cranes),
as well as highly technical and detail oriented foundations and structural
systems. He is highly organized, efficient, and establishes a quick
rapport with Clients.
Jo Barrett, Secretary/Treasurer,
Accounting and Job Cost Control
- 26 years business and professional experience in the Construction
Profession.
From 1983 to 1986, Jo was office manager and accountant for another
General Contracting firm, gaining valuable experience in dealing with
all the day to day responsibilities of a complex business environment.
Jo has also had field experience dealing directly with Subs and Vendors.
She is in daily communication and involvement with our projects.
Jared Barrett, Vice President,
Project Manager, Project Buyout and Scheduling
- 4 Years College, B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology.
- 15 years business and professional experience, with 9 years in
the Construction Profession.
From 1995 to 2000, Jared was a manager of several national chain restaurants,
gaining valuable experience in hiring and managing people, inventory
control, cost control, and running high profile businesses. His primary
goal was to always insure his Clients received an extraordinary dining
experience.
Jared is particularly adept at organizing Subs and Vendors work loads
and maximizing Jobsite production by being a proactive planner and organizer.
Jared has the ability to foresee problems which allows us to transform
our strategy before they affect the project. Continuing his philosophy
of Total Client Satisfaction, he works persistently to maximize the
return on our Client’s investment.
Frank Poutier, NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- MBA in 1986 from the University of New Haven and his undergraduate
degree from St. Louis University in 1981.
- 19 years as owner and manager of his own Commercial and Residential
Construction Company.
While owning and managing his Company, Frank developed a unique talent
and ability to quickly establish rapport and trust with his clients,
evaluate their business needs, and provide sound workable solutions
in a timely manner.
Frank continues that trait with all of H. C. Barrett & Associates, Inc.
Prospective Clients, developing new strategies to better serve them,
and always striving to establish a long term "Repeat Client"
relationship.
Carmen Duffy, Administrative
Assistant, Communications, Document Generation, Insurance, and Project
Close-Out
- AAS in Aviation Maintenance Technology and received her A&P license from Westwood College of Aviation
Technology in 2002.
Prior to coming to H.C. Barrett & Associates in the spring of
2007, Carmen spent almost 3 years providing in home care for her Grandmother,
and still enjoys the “young at heart” within the community.
Carmen is extremely effective at product research, communication with
our subcontractors/ vendors, and organizing project closeouts. Realizing
that construction is an all encompassing field, she looks forward
to learning something new every day!
